Chris Steeves is in his first season as a graduate assistant for the Saxons and will assist coaching the defensive line. He is a 2013 graduate of Alfred University, with a bachelor’s degree in business. At AU, he was a starting defensive ends for the Saxons four seasons (2009-12), serving as a team captain his senior season. In 2012, he earned Empire 8 Conference First Team honors after racking up 58 tackles, including 10.5 for loss and 8.5 sacks. For his career, he had 162 tackles (24 for loss 15.5 sacks) to go with five fumble recoveries and an interception. He is seeking a master’s degree in business administration from AU.
