Before AU: Ran for Mike Frazer and the Spartans of Valley Stream North in Franklin Square, NY...member of the 4x400 and 4x800 meter relays that won All-County, division, conference and county championships in 2013...took second place in the 1,600 meter run in indoor track in 2013...earned All-Conference and All-Division in cross country...earned High Honor Roll in 2012 and 2013...was a member of many honors societies including National Honors Society...attended three years at Roberts Wesleyan College...helped his team take second place in the NCCAA's to qualify for the NCAA Division II championships.

Personal: Parents are Henry Puerto and Gladys Cediel...majors in mechanical engineering...also a member of the men's cross country team here at Alfred University.
