Before AU: Swam for Maddie Ernest and the Ironmen of Danville Area High School in Danville, PA...placed sixth at the PIAA High School State Championships in the 500-yard freestyle in 2016-17...two-time PIAA District IV AA winner in the 500-yard freestyle in 2015-16 and 2016-17...holds the Danville school and pool record in the 500-yard freestyle which he broke in 2014-15 and continued to improve it until graduating...also swam for the Bloomsburg Area YMCA club swimming team.

Personal: Earned his B.S. in Materials Science Engineering...son of Larry and Lori Koltenuk.
