BRISTOL, NY – The Alfred University women's alpine skiing team wrapped up their season with a two-day weekend on Bristol Mountain for the USCSA Mideast Regional Championships on Sunday.

Bob Cilino '13 said. "We were able to get training all week and prepare as many days as possible. I'm excited for next year and I'm really excited about the team itself and how everybody gelled this year and worked together and supported each other. I'm looking forward to next year and many years to come."
On day one,
Valérie Borg du Prie (Brussels, Belgium/European School Ixelles) was the fastest for the Saxons as she delivered consistent runs for a combined time of 1:59.57 in the giant slaloms.
Gail Miller (Dayton, OH/Stivers School) was second fastest with a time of 2:35.73.
Zoe Rainville (Saranac, NY/Saranac) registered the fastest time for AU in her first run, recording 1:01.79 but did not finish her second attempt.
Day two, Borg du Prie had the fastest time in the slaloms, recording 2:15.86 as her time. Rainville followed with a time of 2:30.89 while Miller registered 1:27.40 in her first run.
Alfred University will look to prepare for next year's season.
