ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University women's basketball team is back in the Empire 8 Championship Tournament and will travel to take on No. 1 Nazareth University in the first round on Saturday at 2:00 PM.

For the first time in program history, the Saxons have clinched a spot in the postseason in back-to-back years. AU will be the No. 8 seed after ending the regular season with a 11-14 overall record and 5-11 in league play.

Ticket prices for the event are:

-Adults, $10
-Students and senior citizens with valid ID, $2
-Children under 12, Free
