ITHACA, NY – The Alfred University women's swimming & diving team opened the 2025 Ithaca College Bomber Invitational on Thursday evening.
 
The Saxons sit in seventh place behind Union College with 158 points.
 
The 400-yard medley relay team of Courtney Cherricks (Chincoteague, VA/Big Spring), Isobel Anderegg (Wellsboro, PA/Wellsboro Area), Kyra Harry (Gaborone, Botswana/Enko Botho) and Alexandra Simmons (Danbury, CT/Danbury) finished seventh to end the evening with a time of 4:22.16. Anderegg was also the only Saxon to qualify for Thursday's finals, competing in the 200-yard individual medley, finishing 24^th with a time of 2:26.29.
 
Earlier in the evening, the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Harry, Elsie Shumway (Murray, UT/Murray), Simmons and Anderegg combined for a time of 1:46.63 to finish seventh.
