ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University women's volleyball team competes in the first round of the Empire 8 Championship Tournament at No. 1 St. John Fisher University on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 1:00 PM.

The Saxons wrapped up the regular season with a 12-17 overall record and 4-7 in E8 play to earn the No. 8 seed. AUVB appears in the E8 Championship for the fourth time in the last six seasons.

Doors on Saturday will open at 12:00 PM. Ticket prices for the event are:

- Adults, $10
- Students and senior citizens with valid ID, $2
- Children under 12, Free
