ALFRED, NY – On Saturday, the Alfred University men's lacrosse and softball teams successfully coordinated their annual Teddy Bear Toss. The event took place during halftime of the football game against Utica University.
"I'm really glad that I got to help out those that are less fortunate," Men's Lacrosse Senior
Brady McGowan said. "I appreciate all who donated to help the Salvation Army of Hornell."
In total, Alfred University Athletics collected 101 teddy bears, 47 assorted toys, four board games and three books, bringing the total to 155 unique gifts to support the Salvation Army of Hornell.
"It was a pleasure being able to help donate to the Salvation Army of Hornell and those in need," Softball Sophomore
