ALFRED, NY - The Alfred University women's tennis team wrapped up their weekend with a 9-0 loss to SUNY Geneseo on Saturday.
"They were a good team," Head Coach
Jake Fisler said. "We would have had to bring our best to compete. This was a good lesson and we are looking to rebound with a great match against Houghton at home on Wednesday."
The closest match on the scorebook for the Saxons took place at No. 3 singles, with
Allison Windisch (Pittsford, NY/Sutherland) forcing a 6-2, 6-2 match.
Sarah Bradford (Beaverton, OR/Beaverton) made her second collegiate appearance for AU in both No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.
Alfred University will next host Houghton University next Wednesday at 3:30 PM.
