ROCHESTER, NY -- The Alfred University women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 Empire 8 match to Nazareth University on Friday evening on the Annette Shapiro Courts.

The Saxons (2-9, 1-4 Empire 8) forfeited No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles, starting the match with a 2-0 deficit.

The closest match on the score sheet for AU was at No. 3 singles as Allison Windisch (Pittsford, NY/Sutherland) dropped a 6-3, 6-4 decision to Sarah Stone.

The Saxons will next host SUNY Geneseo on Saturday, October 5 at 1:00pm.
