ONEONTA, NY - The Alfred University women's tennis team wrapped up their fall season with a 7-0 loss to Oneonta on Saturday. 

"This season has been all about overcoming adversity," Head Coach Jake Fisler said. "From injury, to sickness, to bad weather, we have had to preserve through a lot. I was impressed with the toughness of the team to continue to fight all season long. It didn't go the way we wanted it to, but they are definitely stronger because of it."

Becca Epping (Mitchell, IN/Bedford North Lawrence) and Alyssa Seegert (Oroville, CA/Las Plumas) put up a fight from No. 1 doubles for the Saxons. Allison Windisch (Pittsford, NY/Sutherland) played well from No. 4 singles for AU, particularly from the second set.
