ALFRED, NY – A record-breaking 103 Alfred University Saxon student-athletes were named to the Spring 2023 Empire 8 President's List, having earned semester GPA's of 3.75 or higher while 13 teams were honored as Empire 8 All-Academic Teams, bolstering a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.
 
The Alfred University alpine skiing team led the way the highest team GPA out of the 13 Saxon teams. The men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, women's lacrosse, women's soccer, softball, women's swimming & diving, women's tennis, women's track & field, women's volleyball, and equestrian teams all earned spots on the E8 All-Academic Teams.
