ROCHESTER, NY – The Alfred University men's tennis team wrapped up their spring season with a 9-0 loss to St. John Fisher on Sunday afternoon.

The combined efforts of Logan Cross (Olean, NY/Olean) and David Lingenfelter (Erie, PA/Harborcreek) resulted in four points from No. 1 in doubles action. In singles play, Cross scored in each of his two sets from No. 1. Sam Adu-Tutu (The Bronx, NY/Validus Preparatory Academy) battled from No. 5 singles, scoring three points during his second set.

"In tennis, there are a lot of things we can't control, but all year long we have been emphasizing our preparation and effort as things we can control and improve upon," Head Coach Jordan Crouch said. "This team improved every day and I'm so proud of the progress we have made. Thank you to David and Logan for their service of this program and I can't wait to start again with the returners next year!"
