ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University women's lacrosse team hosted Hartwick College on a rainy Friday evening. The Saxons (1-11, 0-6 Empire 8) fell to the Hawks by a score of 21-0.
 
Taylor Miller (Medina, NY/Medina) was the lone AU player being celebrated on senior night. Miller had the best opportunity to put the Saxons on the board with six shots on goal. She also picked up three ground balls.
 
Madison Latranyi (Danville, PA/Danville Area) had six draw controls, six ground balls and six caused turnovers to lead Alfred.
 
Paige Rowlee (Fulton, NY/G. Ray Bodley) had 11 saves in on the day.
 
The Saxons will be back at home on Tuesday to host the first place St. John Fisher College Cardinals at 4PM.
