ALFRED, NY – Junior kicker, Ben Sennett (Rushville, NY/Marcus Whitman) of the Alfred University football team earned his first Empire 8 Special Teams Player of the Week honors on Monday afternoon.
 
Sennett had a career-high performance on Saturday at Utica College. He was perfect on field goals by going 3-for-3 on the day, including a 39-yard field goal, making it the second longest in the Empire 8 this season. Sennett also tacked on a PAT attempt on Saturday.
 
He and the Saxons will next head to Hartwick College on Saturday, October 27 for a 2PM start in Empire 8 action.
