"We like going against harder opponents because we get the experience which is what we did today," senior opposite hitter
Heather D'Andrea (Erie, PA/Mercyhurst Prep) "I know it's frustrating to lose, but with every game that we are against harder opponents that we learn a lot and our team gets a lot better."
Â
"It's really good practice for us to play against teams that hit hard and that have big blocks, because if we can't hit around it, we just have to learn and we worked on that a lot today so I'm really proud of us for that," junior libero
Elisabeth Estep (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads) said. "Serve-receive was really good today and it was really consisted which is good for us."
Â
The Saxons will next host the second and final day of the tournament on Saturday, October 14 with their first match at 10 am against Lynchburg College and the final against Lycoming at 4 pm.
