ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University women's basketball team dropped an 84-65 non-conference decision to visiting Hilbert College Saturday evening at the Galanis Family Arena.
First-year guard
Jaime Wilcox (Forestville, NY/Pine Valley) scored a game- and career-high 23 points to lead the Saxons (2-3). Her sister, first-year guard
Jessica Wilcox (Forestville, NY/Pine Valley) added 13 points.
Sophomore guard
Katlyn Boland (New York, NY/A. Phillip Randolph) had 11 points and eight assists for the Saxons, while senior forward
Amanda Off (New Berlin, NY/Unadilla Valley) pulled down a team-high seven rebounds.
Shannon Rogers had 18 points and 11 rebounds and
Kelsi Ebert netted a team-best 20 points to go with six boards for Hilbert.
Katelyn Proy and
Emily Speidel each scored 14 for the Hawks, who improved to 2-3.
AU is in action next on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 5 p.m. at home against Baldwin Wallace.
