WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Alfred University women's soccer team lost to host King's College (PA.) Wednesday evening by the score of 1-0.

The Saxons (7-9-1,1-5-1 E8) had the advantage in corner kicks, 9-5. The Monarchs had the edge in shots, 16-12.

Sammy Jo Shanahan (Valley Stream, NY / Valley Stream South) had another solid game, making nine saves in the loss. Her counterpart,
Ally McMahon, made four saves in the win.
