Box Score ALFRED, NY — Andrew Miller (Hilton, NY/Hilton), a member of the Alfred University football team, has earned weekly honors from D3football.com.

Miller, a junior defensive tackle, was named to D3football.com's Team of the Week. Miller was honored for his play in Alfred's season-opening 39-25 win at Husson, in which he had eight tackles (five solo, 2½ for loss, one sacks) and forced a fumble.

With Alfred trailing, 25-24, late in the third quarter, Miller recovered a fumble at the Husson 15-yard line. One play later, AU scored and took the lead for good, at 32-25. His sack midway through the fourth forced a fumble at the Husson 30-yard line that AU recovered at the Husson 15, leading to a Saxon touchdown that closed out the game's scoring.
