Dives of the WeekALFRED, NYÂ -- The Alfred University men's swimming and diving team won against Pitt-Bradford 124-79 Saturday afternoon in Lebohner Pool as they close out a two-meet weekend.

The Saxons (1-3) claimed seven victories out of exhibition out of the 13 events. The team of
Alec Toth (Lockport, NY/Starpoint),
Richie Berger (New Paltz, NY/New Paltz),
Joseph Lawrence (Clarence Center, NY/Clarence) and
Patrick Brown (Olean, NY/Olean) were the first winners for Alfred University. They teamed for a 1:43.37 win in the 200 yard medley relay.

Toth then won the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:50.62 and the 100 yard freestyle with a final mark of 50.98. Lawrence also claimed another win for the Saxon men in the 50 yard freestyle (22.92) and the 100 fly (53.67).

Jake Olson (Dansville, NY/Dansville) won the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.36.

Christopher Deaver (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley) won the 3-Meter Diving with a six-dive score of 258.53.

The Saxons will next prepare for and then compete at the Ithaca College Invitational, starting on Friday, December 4 and ending on Sunday, December 6.
