Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 MORRISVILLE, NY – The Alfred University volleyball team split a pair of matches hosted by Morrisville State Saturday.

AU lost, 3-0, to LaRoche before beating host Morrisville, 3-1.

Against LaRoche, freshman Aubrey Totsline (Rochester, NY/Fairport) had 17 assists, two digs and a solo block and freshman Jacquelynn Hicks (Greenville, NY/Greenville) had six kills and five blocks to lead the Saxons.

Junior Chelsea Pietrzykowski (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua) had five kills and four blocks and senior Taylor Kiernan (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford) had five digs.

Against Morrisville, Totsline had 26 assists and four digs; Hicks had eight kills and three blocks; and freshman Heather D'Andrea (Erie, PA/Mercyhurst Prep) had six kills and seven digs.

Kiernan had 17 digs and five service aces, and sophomore Mary Lou Patnaude (Burnt Hills, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) had seven kills and four digs.

AU (4-14) is in action next on Friday, Oct. 3, at 6 p.m. at home against Ithaca.
