ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at home to D'Youville Tuesday evening.

The Saxons lost by scores of 25-20, 25-23 and 25-19 to fall to 3-13 on the season.

AU was led by freshman Aubrey Totsline (Rochester, NY/Fairport) with 22 assists and six digs and sophomore Mary Lou Patnaude (Burnt Hills, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) with six kills, 11 digs and a pair of blocks.

Freshman Heather D'Andrea (Erie, PA/Mercyhurst Prep) had five kills and eight digs; senior Taylor Kiernan (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford) had 21 digs; and freshman Jacquelynn Hicks (Greenville, NY/Greenville) had four kills and two blocks.

AU plays next on Saturday, Sept. 27, in a tri-match at Morrisville State. The Saxons play LaRoche at 11 a.m. at Morrisville at 2 p.m.
