Box Score ELMIRA, NY-  The Alfred University women's basketball team fell to Elmira College in a 72-59 decision, Tuesday evening in Empire 8 play.
           
The Lady Saxons trailed the Soaring Eagles 38-28 at the half and built off that lead during the second half, securing the victory.

Junior guard Harley Cleary (Rochester, NY/Our Lady of Mercy) and junior guard Emiliea Harrison (Conesus, NY/Dansville) paced Alfred with 20 and 18 points. Harrison and sophomore forward Hailey Sick (Dansville, NY/Dansville) each grabbed seven and six rebounds.  

AU (6-13, 1-7 Empire 8) plays next on Friday, Feb. 7, at 8 p.m. against Stevens Tech at McLane Center.
