WILLIAMSPORT, PA—The Saxons women's basketball team topped the Penn College Wildcats, 69-59, Tuesday evening, earning their second win on the young season.

In the opening seven minutes of the game the Saxons were able to dominate the game, going on a 20-4 run. Most points throughout the run came from within the paint from various Saxon players. The Saxons didn't slow down following the run either, only allowing the Wildcats to get within nine points throughout the remainder of the half.Â

Â
With 3:50 left to go, the Wildcats attempted to claw their way back with a late push, bringing the game within nine points again, however the Saxons capitalized on their free-throws in the closing minutes to keep the game out of reach. The Saxons closed out the game with another victory, 69-59.
