Box Score CAZENOVIA, NY- The Alfred University women's basketball team handled Cazenovia College, earning a 70-46 win, Sunday afternoon on the road. This non-confernce win moves AU to 5-3 (0-0 Empire 8) on the season.

Alfred controlled the pace of play throughout the entire game, leading the Wildcats 33-17 at the half. For the game, AU shot 39 percent from the field, 23 percent from beyond the arc, and 68 percent from the free throw line. 

Junior guard Emilea Harrison (Conesus, NY/Dansville) scored a game-best 18 points and pulled down 7 rebounds. Sophomore guard Sarah Kichman (Portville, NY/Portville) added 10 points, and freshman forward Kathryn Polletta (Ossining, NY/Ossining) pulled down a team-high eight rebounds. 

AU opens Empire 8 play on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 8 p.m. against Nazareth College.
