Box Score HOBOKEN, NJ-  The Alfred University women's basketball team fell to Stevens Tech, 90-65, in Empire 8 play, Saturday evening. This loss puts Alfred at 5-9 on the season and 0-5 in conference play.
           
Stevens led Alfred 50-28 at intermission and did not look back for the rest of the game.  AU shot 41 from the field, 33 from beyond the arc, and 58 from the free-throw line for the game.

Junior guard Harley Cleary (Rochester, NY/Our Lady of Mercy) led all scorers with 28 points, shooting four-of-five beyond the three-point line and 10-of-14 from the field. Junior guard Emilea Harrison (Conesus, NY/Dansville) scored 15 points and freshman guard Kathryn Polletta (Ossining, NY/Ossining) pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.

Alfred next faces Houghton College on Friday, Jan. 24, at 8 p.m.
