Box Score ONEONTA, NY- The Alfred University women's basketball team dropped a 72-36 decision to Hartwick College, on the road Friday evening.

The Hawks held a 33-18 advantage at the half and lengthened their lead during the rest of the contest.

Junior guard Harley Cleary (Rochester, NY/Our Lady of Mercy) scored a team-best 11 points and freshman guard Maddi Flint (Caledonia, NY/Caledonia-Mumford) added eight points. Freshman guard Kathryn Polletta (Ossining, NY/Ossining) pulled down a team-high six rebounds.

Alfred (5-8, 0-4 Empire 8) returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 5 p.m. against Stevens Tech.
