Box Score PITTSFORD, NY -- The Alfred University volleyball team lost 3-0 to host Nazareth Saturday afternoon at the Empire 8 Conference Crossover Tournament.

The Saxons (3-24, 0-8 E8) lost by scores of 25-21, 25-19 and 25-14. Senior Paige Jensen (Weiser, ID/Weiser) had five kills, two service aces and three digs for the Saxons, and senior Core' Oppliger (Neuchatel, Switzerland) had four kills and three blocks.

Senior Chelsea Hall (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) had six kills, five digs and a pair of blocks; senior Janelle Gallipeau (Rochester, NY/Greece Olympia) had 14 assists; and junior Taylor Kiernan (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford) had eight digs.

AU plays next on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. against Houghton, in the Saxons' season home finale.
