Box Score BRADFORD, PA – The Alfred University women's volleyball team lost, 3-1, at Pitt-Bradford Wednesday evening.

AU (3-13) lost by scores of 14-25, 19-25, 30-28 and 17-25. Senior Chelsea Hall (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) had nine kills and six digs and sSenior Paige Jensen (Weiser, ID/Weiser) had seven kills, five digs and two blocks to pace the Saxons.

Junior Taylor Kiernan (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford) had 17 digs; senior Janelle Gallipeau (Rochester, NY/Greece Olympia) had 24 assists and six digs; senior Core' Oppliger (Neuchatel, Switzerland/Lycee Jean-Piaget) had three blocks; senior Brittany Anselment (Baldwinsville, NY/C.W. Baker) had four services aces; and senior Kellie Hughson (Albion, NY/Charles D'Amico) had 10 digs.

Alfred is in action next on Friday, Oct. 4, and Saturday, Oct. 5, when the Saxons play three Empire 8 Conference Crossover Tournament matches at Elmira College. AU (0-2 in Empire 8 play this year) plays Houghton at 7 p.m. Friday; Stevens at 12:30 p.m. Saturday; and Hartwick at 3 p.m. Saturday.
