ALFRED, NY-- Dalton Walsh (Stockton, NY/Cassadega Valley) has been named the Alfred University Male Athlete of the Week.

The senior forward from Stockton, NY, averaged 19.3 points and 8.3 rebounds in three games for the men’s basketball team last week. He had a double-double (his third of the season) with 14 points and 11 rebounds in the Saxons’ win at Stevens in their Empire 8 Conference opener. In losses to Pit-Bradford and Hartwick, he had 21 points and five rebounds, and 23 points and nine rebounds, respectively.
