Valenzuela tied a career-high in points as he hit a big double-double against Nazareth University, scoring 17 points, shooting 7-of-14 with one being from 3-point land and adding two free throws. He tacked on 15 rebounds (10 defensive) to complete the double-double. Valenzuela neared a double-double in only 21 minutes of play on Friday against St. John Fisher University, scoring nine points and pulling down eight boards (five defensive). He also had two blocks and a steal on Friday while adding one assist on Saturday. Valenzuela continues to lead the Empire 8 in rebounds and rebounds per game with 130 total, averaging 10.8. He is 17^th in the nation in rebounds per game and is Top-35 in total rebounds (No. 34), defensive rebounds per game (No. 33) and offensive rebounds per game (No. 27).
