Ellie Prestridge was part of a historic event for the women’s rugby team, as she captained her team to a massive 53-32 win over Geneseo on Friday night. It kept the Saxons’ undefeated streak to start the season going against one of the top teams in the UNYCRC, as they scored the second-most points in a single match in program history. In the inaugural match at their new facility at Saxon Hill, Prestridge led the way with four tries, scoring three of those tries in quick succession. In addition, she added points on the board with four conversions.
