Howlett faced her first competition of the season on Saturday as the Saxons hosted Russell Sage College. The Gators fired off 48 shots with 36 on goal. Howlett made a career-high 27 saves (79.4 save percentage, second highest in career), disrupted two shots enough for teammate, Addison Knowles, to make two defensive saves and knocked away a multitude of cross passes out of the circle. Howlett and the Saxon defense shut down 4-of-5 penalty corner attempts from Sage.
