Abdallatif was one of three Saxons to collect six medals at the 2026 Empire 8 Swimming & Diving Championships at Webster Aquatic Center last week. He won both the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke events with times of 48.71 (breaking his own school record) and 1:50.29 (another school record). He tacked on four silver medals in the 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard medley relay, 400-yard freestyle relay and the 800-yard freestyle relay. Abdallatif found a spot on the podium again with a fourth place finish in the 200-yard individual medley, swimming a personal best time of 1:52.85.
