Josh Rivers had a standout performance during Saturday’s Homecoming game against Ithaca College. The freshman totaled five solo tackles on the day with four of them being for a loss, totaling 33 yards of negative offense for the Bombers. Out of those four tackles for a loss, three of them were sacks for 29 yards loss. His final sack of the day was in the fourth quarter with Ithaca looking at 4^th and 25 and Rivers took down Ithaca’s Shafer for a loss of 13 yards, giving Alfred University the turnover on downs possession and a chance for the knee with 31 seconds left in the game.
