Share was undefeated in individual events on the week while also posting the fastest backstroke splits in both 200-yard medley relay races of the week. She swam a 28.42 in Wednesday’s relay at SUNY Geneseo, almost half a second faster than the two backstroke swimmers from Geneseo’s A and B-team swimmers who combined to defeat the Saxons. Share then swam a 28.89 in the medley relay at Hartwick, almost two seconds faster than the rest of the pool. In individual events, Share won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:00.73, just over two seconds faster than her competition at SUNY Geneseo on Wednesday. She then clocked a winning time of 2:12.22 in the 200-back. Share ended her individual events on Wednesday with her third win, winning by 0.01 seconds and posting a time of 2:19.33, just out-reaching the wall over the Knights’ Sinead Devaney. Share’s Wednesday wasn’t over yet, having swam her maximum of four events, as she joined the B-team in the 200-yard freestyle relay in order to give her teammates the opportunity to compete. They team was exhibitioned because of it being Share’s fifth event. Share closed out the Empire 8 portion of the regular season dual meets with another three individual event victories at Hartwick College. She began with a winning time of 1:01.93 in the 100-backstroke, defeating the rest of the pool by almost three seconds. She then won the 200-back by almost seven seconds as she clocked a time of 2:15.41. Share then won the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:19.44, besting the rest of her competition over five seconds.
