Webber was a threat for the Saxons on both sides of the ball as she helped the Saxons record the program’s first ever full-regulation 15s match as a varsity program. They defeated Fredonia on Sunday, 38-37. Webber and the Saxons had to play 50 minutes of the match down two players due to injuries, facing off with a squad of 13 players against 15. Fredonia had a one-point lead, 20-19 as Webber scored two tries, followed by Samantha Stock’s second try to put the Saxons up to 38 points. Webber and the Saxons then mounted a defensive effort to hold off Fredonia for the win. Webber recorded four big tackles to cause knocks on, covering a larger area than usual, due to the 13-15 player deficit.
