Key efforts by Young led to a pair of non-conference wins for Alfred University this past week. Young was credited with the game-winning goal for the Saxons in the 73rd minute as part of a 1-0 effort against Geneva College (PA). Young finished the contest with three shots for AU. This past Saturday, in a 4-1 victory against Hilbert College, Young recorded a pair of goals and an assist across a game-high five shots on goal. Young scored each of the first two goals for Alfred University against the Hawks, scoring in the 15th and 32nd minute of action. Overall, Young finished the week with three goals, an assist and six shots on goal. Her second goal on Saturday was recorded as the game-winning goal, finishing the week with two game-winners.
