Spila broke her own record in the pentathlon with a score of 3,024 points at the Brockport Multi & Invitational. Her previous record was 2,978 points, which she registered a season ago. Spila won the shot put on a personal best 10.16m throw (33'-4"). She also placed third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.57 and high jump on a 1.47m leap (4'-9.75"). Spila earned a high score of 794 points in the 60-meter hurdles.
