Sims joined the 1,000-assists club at Alfred University, breaking the barrier on Saturday in a four-set win over Keuka College. She had 34 assists in the match and now has 1,030 on her impressive, three-year career thus far. Sims returned to action on Friday after an injury sidelined her early in the season. She totaled 52 set assists on the weekend as she helped AU go 2-0 in conference action. She added 12.5 points on six kills, six aces and one block assist while tacking on 13 digs.
