Baitey was the only Saxon to win an event overall at the St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic, taking first on his very last jump in the triple jump. He cleared 13.13m (43’-1”) to claim the win. Earlier in the meet, Baitey ran his second collegiate 400-meter dash and hit a personal best time of 50.51, winning his heat and finishing fifth overall and third in Division III with two University at Buffalo runners finishing just ahead of him (both running times of 50.40).
