Kimiecik smashed past his collegiate career-best in single game saves on Saturday. His previous top mark was 17 saves last year against Utica University. On Saturday, at Hartwick College, Kimiecik made 26 saves in a come-from-behind, 16-12 win in Empire 8 action. Saturday’s game wasn’t the first time that he made more saves than his previous career-high. On Wednesday, Kimiecik made 21 saves against SUNY Geneseo. He totaled four ground balls and one caused turnover on the week.
