LaMastus was instrumental in the Saxons winning their first Empire 8 Championship since the 2009-09 season. He had eight individual personal best times and was an Empire 8 Champion in the 200-yard medley relay, the 400-yard individual medley, the 100-yard backstroke and the 400-yard medley relay while picking up an All-Empire 8 Second Team finish in the 200-yard backstroke.
