The junior from Corning, NY, won a conference title in the javelin throw with his win at the Empire 8 outdoor track and field championships. His throw of throw of 59.77 meters broke a 44-year-old AU record and easily outdistanced the second-place heave of 50.41 meters. Locker's throw also met ECAC qualifying standards.
