Lagos had a strong start to the season at powerhouse RIT on Saturday. He finished second in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:59.66 and third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.85. Lagos also finished fourth in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 49.93. Compared to where he left off at the end of last season, Lagos has had almost no drop-off from his personal best times, set at last year’s Allegheny/Empire Championships. His PR in the 100-free is a 48.25, in the 100-fly is a 51.77 and in the 200-fly, it is a 1:58.36.
