Junior Elliot Bowen shot .600 from the floor as he upped his streak of double-digit scoring games to seven with back-to-back double-figure outcomes during the two games in Lancaster, PA as he was named to the Sponaugle New Year’s All-Tournament Team. He helped the Saxons go 1-1 in the tournament as they were the consolation champions with a 72-60 win over Wilkes University. He scored a season-high 14 points in a loss to Franklin & Marshall, going 7-for-13 from the floor while also pulling down eight rebounds (five offensive boards) and stealing the ball once. He closed out the trip, going 5-for-7 from the floor and a perfect 2-for-2 from the free throw line for 12 points while grabbing two rebounds and stealing the ball one more time.
