Dustin McCaslin scored the game-winning field goal on Saturday, closing out Homecoming Weekend and getting the first E8 win of the season, defeating Hartwick College, 24-21. He finished the night with three field goals and a PAT. His first field goal was his game-high of 35 yards right at the horn before halftime making it a 21-10 deficit to Hartwick. He then opened up the second half scoring spree of AU with a 24-yard field goal, bringing the score to 21-13. After AU tied the game with a touchdown and a successful 2-point conversion, McCaslin would sound the horns with a 28-yard, game-winning field goal. On kickoffs, McCaslin had five kicks for 284 yards and two touchbacks.
