Sophomore Arden Hatch continued her impressive scoreless streak inside the pitcher’s circle as she went 21.0 innings without giving up a single run until Sunday’s game two of the doubleheader against Russell Sage College. During the week, Hatch picked up three wins as she is now 6-1 with one save. Her wins this week were against Houghton College, Penn State-Behrend and Russell Sage. Hatch totaled 14 strikeouts and only one wild pitch. She also picked up a bat this past week hitting a triple in the nightcap against PS-Behrend before scoring the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning for the walk-off. It was her second run of the week as she finished with three while driving in two herself and going 1-for-1 on stolen bases. Hatch is continuing her solid field performance as she had three chances where she assisted on each of them successfully.
