Senior Sarah Raeman had a stellar week as she broke not only her career-record in points and kills, but also broke the Alfred University school record in single-season hitting percentage as she also helped Alfred University win its first ever Empire 8 Tournament match with a five-set road win against #4 Houghton College. She finished the season with a .267 hitting percentage, breaking the previous record of .257 set by Sara Beatty ’04 in 2001. In the win against Houghton, Raeman hit a .311 off of 45 attacks, a career-high 17 kills and only three errors. She added two aces and a career-high 5.0 total blocks with four block assists and one solo for a career-high 22.0 points. On Thursday, Raeman tied her career-high with 17 kills as she hit a .361 off of 36 attacks and only four errors.
