Junior Lauren Serotta picked up two Allegheny Empire Swimming & Diving Championship titles as she won the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke events to not only become the Allegheny Empire Champion in both events but also the Empire 8 Champion in both as she also earned All-Empire 8 First Team. Serotta won the 100 with a time of 58.04 as she broke her own school record of 58.32 with a 58.18 in preliminaries and again in the finals. Serotta then swam a 2:07.55 to win the 200, almost breaking her own record of 2:07.42. Serotta also was part of the Saxon relays that held high places all week as Alfred University finished third overall and within the Empire 8, defeating all AMCC teams. All of the relays that Serotta was on finished third overall and third in the Empire 8. Serotta also tied for third in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 59.26.
